Cenglu is a cross-cultural folk trio based in Surakarta, Indonesia active from 2019-2022. The group is a collaboration between Erik Tarigan (kulcapi), Sean Hayward (guitar), and Reizki Habibullah (gambus). In their music, they combine their respective traditions to create a new kind of folk song, something at once familiar but fresh. They released their debut EP “Kembara” in 2020.
