the black moon

This album was written as accompaniment to a dance work, “La Luna Negra” choreographed by Bryanna Brock. The dance describes the complex progression of her uncle, who was diagnosed with ALS. As he loses his ability to speak and move, a tension emerges between acceptance, frustration, tragedy, and inevitability.
